Die Grover Mechaniken sind super genau und laufen sehr zart ohne viel Kraftaufwand finde ich besser als diese Vintage Mechaniken die bei Epi oft zum Einsatz kommen. Der Sound ist gut, gar nicht Dumpf oder verschwommen, wie hinterm ”Vorhang” wie man immer liest sondern sehr klar. Natürlich tut hier auch die Verstärker Einstellung ihren Teil dazu beitragen. Einziges Manko, der Übergang Hals /Body was hat sich Epiphone dabei gedacht das durch die Qualitätskontrolle zu lassen? Ich seh es als „Fingerprint“ diese Gitarre erkenne ich unter tausenden. The pictures do not do the Wildkat justice, this thing is beautiful. The only thing I will most likely change is the nut to compensate for the Bigsby. The pickups: The P-90 Dogears are solid. I have read a bunch of folks immediately want switch out the pickups for GuitarFetish, Seymore Duncans or Lollers, but I don't feel I have to do that. I want to play it for a while and I am still on the fence if I will ever replace the stock P-90s.
